Carbit Paint Company has been manufacturing product finishes, industrial coatings, and specialty coatings in Chicago since 1925. We are the industry leader in protective strippable coatings. Our featured product, CARBICOTE, is a water-based, strippable, liquid coating in both white and clear that when dry forms a continuous film membrane, similar to a plastic sheet. Easily removed, it becomes a temporary barrier to protect many surfaces.

Carbit Paint sells the bulk of its products to end users on a direct basis, although some products are sold through distributors internationally.
