What is CARBITHANE^® ?

It is a two component acrylic polyurethane formulated to give years of service in the harshest environmental exposures.  CARBITHANE^® is available in both satin and gloss and in standard and low VOC formulations.

CARBITHANE^® is the coating supplied to users of the CARBITHANE^® INTERMIX system.

CARBITHANE^® is suitable as a product finish or maintenance coating for metal, plastic, wood, and other related surfaces.  

Typical uses for the Satin finish include: outdoor signs, business equipment, windows and doors, metal fasteners and hardware, transportation equipment, pipelines, and chemical plants.  

Typical uses for the Gloss finish include:  diesel locomotives, trucks, trailers, bridges, pipelines, chemical plants, water towers, offshore platforms, windows and doors, outdoor signs, and playground equipment.
